I take pictures of sunsets.

I take a lot of pictures of sunsets actually. I post some on Instagram, but I don't want to bore my audience. So I thought I'd create a blog post for them. And to be honest, there are some pictures before the sun goes down and after. So I deviate from the sunset only premise. Here you go. A lot of sunsets. This series is from my usual perch in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. In the foreground is Century City, All the way on the horizon is the Pacific Ocean. What a difference a day makes

Can you believe that on the first day on the job Obama closes Gitmo , busts out a modern hip new website , and supports Roe v. Wade ? After all these horror stories we've seen and heard, and complete denial of reality, (See The Road to Guantanimo ) Obama steps in and slams the doors on the worst offender of torture: The U.S. Thank God. I wonder; what was Bush thinking? I wonder what he was thinking all day on Tuesday as he say almost 1.5 million people jubilantly cheering on their new president. I wonder if the protests that ushered him into office came to mind. Of course he wouldn't need to think that far back because there were protesters sending him off too . That look he gave Obama after he finished his speech was classic. One of "Fuck, that guy is good. Wish I could have given a speech like that. Then again, I never really tried." Colorado Backpacking Trip + Grand Canyon & Monument Valley

Atop a 14,000 foot summit in the Weminuche Wilderness, San Jose National Forest, Colorado, USA.  These photos are of the road trip, camping a nd backpacking trip my uncle , my cousin and I went on, are untouched, and sometimes out of order (Thanks random Blogger upload!) Hope you enjoy. - A Our journey began in Arizona. Tuscon to be exact. This is hours into our drive, close to 4 corners. This is an abandoned hotel I would have loved to see: Asasazi Inn. First view of the Colorado Rockies. Blew me away, and just a hint of things to come. The pickup-dropoff point in Silverton, Colorado. Yes, that's an actual coal burning train that takes us into the trailhead. My environmentalist uncle was not thrilled to hear the word "Coal" outside of a campfire. First group selfie of the trip.
